ContainerWatch combats waste nuisance

In the month of December, people tend to have more waste than the rest of the year. This is because we get together more often, for dinners and parties. This increases the chances of illegal waste dumping. VCS Observation uses ContainerWatch to spot rubbish bags placed next to (underground) containers. To prevent nuisance.
In many municipalities, the chance of catching offenders is currently low. As a result, waste accumulates quickly. This creates smells and pests and reduces living comfort.
ContainerWatch
Earlier, offenders had to be caught in the act. Or the waste must be traceable. Because, for example, someone’s address is on a package. The chances of this are slim. VCS has the solution.
ContainerWatch detects rubbish bags and unauthorised waste in the vicinity of (underground) containers. At that moment, the camera generates an active alarm in the camera surveillance system. This allows a boa (special investigating officer) to respond immediately and be on location quickly. As a result, the offender may still be nearby and can be addressed.
The camera also works preventively. Because people know there is control at (underground) containers.
Fully privacy-proof
We attach the camera to lamppost, municipal building, vehicle or facility. This emits a signal, which can be completely wireless with 4G module. The cameras we use are completely privacy-proof. This is because the system only records rubbish. Also, only authorised persons get the information and signals come in through your back office system.
