For safety and process optimization
In the manufacturing industry, everything revolves around safety and process optimization. Our systems support your daily operations. In addition to the well-known security cameras, VCS offers process cameras, which monitor your production line. These cameras can withstand extremely high heat and explosions. Via the control room, the cameras allow operators to detect whether machines are in trouble very early on. Or if the product is compromised.
One of our clients in the food industry owns a factory. Using our cameras, they monitor, among other things, whether the nozzles of the machines are working properly and are not clogged. But it is even possible to digitize the entire machine process. One can place sensors in the system, as well as employee time clocking. Process optimizations save your process operators a lot of valuable time. At the same time, it is less prone to errors.
With our thermal cameras, it is also possible to gain early insight into rapidly changing temperatures. This is crucial for production lines where, for example, critical bearings or electric motors are starting to heat up. At a cigarette manufacturer for which we work, operators check for theft. They monitor exactly what goes in and out on site. Another example: a drinking water company. This is considered a possible terrorist target, where there is a risk of someone trying to shut off or contaminate the water. Thanks in part to our cameras, they can vouch for safe drinking water.
Specially trained colleagues
At VCS, colleagues are trained especially to work in the manufacturing industry. They know the permits and regulations and attend regular training courses. They are used to working in precarious situations in factories, where hazardous materials are handled routinely. For example, our mechanics have an ``escape mask`` and are trained to use it. If toxic gases are released on site, they put on their mask and leave the site safely.
