Smart cameras are sensors that collect data: numbers, movements, patterns or especially deviations from these patterns. By collating the data correctly, you can respond to triggers, such as abnormal noises, in a timely manner.

Our advanced camera systems recognise certain sounds or behaviour live, such as violence or shouting. The operator is notified, and the nearest camera is switched on and moves in the direction of the detected trigger.

Why camera surveillance in private spaces is so important
Camera surveillance is one of the most effective ways of providing security. Incidents can be dealt with quickly. The 'extra eyes' also work preventively. In combination with smart software and video content analysis, VCS camera surveillance is (cost-) more effective than physical surveillance.

Trigger-controlled monitoring
Based on the algorithm, the smart camera records an 'event'. This is done on the basis of a preset 'trigger' (think movement, heat detection or sound).
These triggers enter the system in real time, after which the observer can assess whether action needs to be taken.
Based on these triggers, our smart cameras also make it possible to monitor observation activities more efficiently. Think of counting people or cars.
